watercolor

Perhaps not finished. This is my second flower.

My genre has been human and pet portraits.

I love the look when flowers are painted in an old world style. Must be the former antique dealer in me.

I'd like to paint some victorian style roses. I don't know any good sources. I may have to "wing it" with my imagination.

This is one I saw in a furniture store, and liked very much. It is a much larger painting. I wanted to save it while it looks like this. Just in case when I finish, I cry.

Ever have that happen with a watercolor? Maybe you don't use watercolors. Hah, hah. No, they sometimes force you into creativity you didn't know you had. They are my favourite.

I am also almost exclusively a watercolor artist.

Oh, and I just remembered, there is some pencil on this too.

If Murphy's Law is taken into account and plans are made accordingly, then things will run smoothly- and that will screw everything up.

Just lovely. Gorgeous choice of colours - wonderfully soft and 'antique', as you say :)

Hi, I looked around your site. We compliment each other. You don't use watercolor much? Well, I haven't figured out how to do the first thing, I mean most simple, like crop or get red eye out of my photographs, much less do any color line work?

What is that?

I just put an order in today for a great deal on some new software, that might have instructions. Yay!

I have a used laptop and a $10 (thrift store find) scanner. Someone had to make my paintings small enough for a icon or I would probably still be that little box thing. :faint:

So, I think what you do is awesome. I think I have a little A.D.D. Har, har. I couldn't write this note for looking up and watching your icon. Many cool pictures in it.

Thanks.

I took a fly by your site. Hope you studied for all the right stuff, and aced that test.

You are very pretty. I don't know if you would be interested in the "stock" deal, but if you figured out a way to take photographs of yourself, I think people would enjoy using your image. Just a thougt...

What kind of camera are you saving for?

Your photography was nice. Too rushed to give more comments tonight. I still want to draw in my visual journal I just started.

appreciate the complimentary word on my rose.

Water colour can be a very subtle medium.

The processes of decay have their own sombre fascination.

So fragile.
A small gust of wind and it crumbles.
A beam of light and it burns to ashes.
